We helped this advertising contact management tool make the transition from CD-ROM to become a successful online service.
Challenges

The Advertising Database was already well-established as a CD-ROM service that enjoyed a satisfied client base. In 2006 they decided to become a fully web-delivered system. We needed to present huge volumes of research data coherently - in the context of powerful, easy-to-use tools. One big challenge was that Ad Data's existing client base had to be satisfied with the new look, feel and functionality - particularly the Search tool.
Solutions
We designed a comprehensive, consistent information management metaphor that could be replicated throughout the service and could also handle a huge volume of data. New features included:

TCS worked with the Advertising Database as a direct client over the course of several months, using collaborative online services like GoToMeeting to fine-tune the interface.
